Physio Care Clinic

Up here in Shillong, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. Our clinic is in Nongmynsong, right near the BSF Road. If you are heading out that way, you cannot really miss the turnoff. The weather here is often misty or raining, so we spend a lot of time making sure the floor stays dry from people walking in with their umbrellas. It is a modest setup, nothing like those big city hospitals you see on television. We have a few rooms and a small area where people can wait. It gets a bit chilly in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater running to keep things comfortable for whoever is visiting. Being near the BSF area means we get a mix of people coming in. Some are locals who have lived in Nongmynsong forever, and others are just passing through for work. The clinic is pretty quiet most of the time, except for when the wind picks up outside. We have been here long enough that we do not need much signage. People just know where we are. I handle most of the day-to-day stuff myself, from answering the phone to cleaning up at the end of the shift. It is a simple life and a simple business. We do not have any fancy receptionists. We just use what we have to help the folks who walk through our door. It is just our corner.
