Vijayalakshmi Rice Mill

Vijayalakshmi Rice Mill is tucked away in Kachupathar Gaon. We are in the Sepon Tehsil area, specifically in the Sibsagar District. To get here, you have to go through Post Dubba. It’s a rural area, surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery. We’ve been here for many years, processing rice for the local farmers. The mill itself is an old building, but it still works well for us. We don't have any corporate branding or a marketing department. It’s just us and the machines. Life in the village is quiet, and our mill is one of the main spots where people gather during the season. We spend a lot of time cleaning and maintaining the equipment. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we don’t mind it. People from all over the district know to come to Kachupathar Gaon when they need their rice milled. We try to keep things honest and simple. There are no fancy promises here, just the work we do every day. Sometimes the rains make the roads a bit muddy, which can make transport tricky. But we always manage to get through it. We aren't looking to become some massive industry leader; we just like being the local mill for our village. It’s a way of life that has stayed the same for a long time.
