Titabor Pig Producer Company Limited

This is our small setup in Titabor. Specifically, we are at Ward No.4 in the Bhagowatipara area. Joy Ram Saikia's place is where we coordinate all our work. It is mostly a residential area, so we try to keep things quiet for the neighbors. We are just a bunch of local guys working with pigs. It started as a small idea among friends. Now we have this official company name on paper. We are not big shots or anything like that. We just manage the breeding and the selling around this part of town. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons here. We usually sit near the front gate and talk to whoever drops by. Most people who come to see us are our friends or relatives from nearby. The pigs take up almost all of our time. We have to make sure they are healthy and growing well. It is a lot of physical labor, like lifting heavy bags and cleaning the pens. We do not use computers much, mostly just some old notebooks to track everything. The office is very simple. We have a few plastic chairs and a wooden table. Titabor is a good place to live and work. Life moves at its own pace here. We do not like to rush things. We just want to make a decent living doing what we know. Sometimes we stay late when a sow is giving birth.
