Surabhi Plantation

Surabhi Plantation is out in Bemow, which is part of the Shiv Sagar district. It’s a very different world out here compared to the big cities. Everything is green and the air feels a lot cleaner. We spend most of our time out on the land rather than sitting behind a desk. There’s always something that needs fixing or a patch of ground that needs looking after. At Surabhi Plantation, we don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. We have a simple building where we keep our tools and take our meals. The work is physically demanding and depends a lot on the seasons and the rain. In Sivasagar, you learn to live by the weather. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just grow things and make sure the plantation stays healthy. Some days are just about pulling weeds or checking the irrigation. It’s a quiet life in Bemow, and we like the peace of it. We aren't trying to compete with the massive industrial estates. We just do our own thing on our own time. If you come out this way, you won't see any big signs or fancy gates. It’s just the land and the people who work it every day. We’ve been here a long time and we know every corner of this place. It’s just a regular plantation run by regular people.
