Ria Rice Mill

Ria Rice Mill is over at Plot No-1900 in Kenduguri. We are located right near the Bhogdoi River Bridge. You can hear the water sometimes if the traffic isn't too loud. The mill has been here for a long time and the building shows its age a bit, but it does the job. Working with rice is a dusty business, so things aren't always perfectly clean around here. We spend our days tending to the machines and making sure everything is running like it should. Kenduguri is a nice enough place to be. Being near the bridge means a lot of people pass by us every single day. We see the same faces often and have become a bit of a fixture in the area. We aren't a big industrial operation with thousands of tons of output. We are just a local mill trying to do right by the local farmers. The weather affects our work a lot, especially when the river rises during the monsoon. It can get a bit worrying then, but we manage to get through it every year. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. If people need us, they just come down to Plot No-1900 and talk to us in person. It’s a simple, honest way to run things. We like the sound of the river and the smell of the grain. It’s a good life here.
