Nagerman Sri Narayan Bajaj

Fansi Bazaar is a crowded place, and we are right in the thick of it on Tr Phookan Road. Nagerman Sri Narayan Bajaj has been a fixture here for a long time. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and vehicles. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Mostly we are dealing with bikes and parts, getting grease on our hands and talking to customers about what’s rattling or making noise. It’s not a quiet job. People come in from all over the city because they know the location. The air is thick with exhaust and the sounds of the market outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It's more of a practical space where things get fixed and sold. Sometimes we share tea with the guys from the shop next door when things slow down for a minute. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, but it holds up. We know the regulars by name and they know us. Dealing with Bajaj vehicles keeps us busy enough. There is always a bike being wheeled in or someone looking for a specific bolt. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a basic operation, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on the task in front of us until it's time to lock the shutters.
