Kadamba Tea Company

Kadamba Tea Company is right in the middle of Duliyajaan Market. It’s a very lively place, especially since we are located along the National Highway-37. If you are driving through Alimur, you can’t really miss the turn-offs. We are quite close to the Oil India Limited site, so there are always workers and big trucks moving about. The air often smells like the tea we handle, mixed with the usual smells of a busy market day. It’s a noisy spot, but we’ve grown to like it that way. Being near the highway means we get a lot of travelers and drivers passing through. Our shop in the market isn't very large at all. It’s mostly filled with bags and the general clatter of a daily business. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People from the nearby tea gardens and the oil company often stop by for a chat. We don’t have a polished showroom with glass windows. It’s more of a working space where things get packed and moved out. The rain in this part of the country can be quite heavy and persistent, which sometimes slows things down in the market, but we keep the doors open anyway. We just go about our business day by day without much celebration. Kadamba Tea Company is just a local name in a busy Assam town.
