Ashoka Steels

We are Ashoka Steels and we are located right opposite the new railway station in Hijuguri. Being so close to the station means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the trains and the announcements throughout the day. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have stacks of steel and the tools we need to move it around. It's not the cleanest job, you end up with some grease and dust on your hands by lunchtime. We don't mind it much. It’s just how it is. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The neighborhood knows us as the steel people across from the station. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. Most of our customers are locals who just need a few things for their own builds. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it's quiet. The new station has brought more people to the area lately. We just keep doing our thing, measuring and cutting when needed. It’s a small operation but it keeps us busy enough. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local shop where you can get your steel and talk to the people who actually work there. We’ve got a few old chairs in the back where we take our breaks.
