Arhant Sewa Foundation

Our foundation is located on D.C.B Road in Jorhat. We are set up at the place of Sarat Chandra Borthakur. It is a well-known spot in this part of Assam, zip code 785001. Arhant Sewa Foundation has been using this space for a while to keep our operations running. Jorhat is a place we know well, and being on D.C.B Road puts us right where things are happening. It is more of a home-style setup than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. We do not need a lot of flashy things to do our work. There is a lot of history in this building and the surrounding neighborhood. We spend our mornings catching up on tasks and the afternoons meeting with people who come by. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but it is a nice enough route. The Arhant Sewa Foundation is basically just a few of us trying to stay organized. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with papers, but we know where everything is. Sarat Chandra has been kind enough to let us use this location as our base. It feels more personal this way. We like being part of the local fabric here in Jorhat. It is quiet enough to get work done but close enough to the city center that we do not feel isolated. We have some tea and get to it every morning without much fuss.
