Sis Marine India

Our place is over in Jodiya. It's a small town vibe, and we’ve been operating Sis Marine India from here for a good bit. Dealing with marine equipment and ships means there is always something heavy to move or something old to take apart. Jodiya isn't the biggest place, but there’s enough going on to keep us busy. We mostly deal with parts and salvage stuff that comes from the bigger vessels. It’s dusty work, and your hands never really stay clean for long. We have a small crew, mostly local guys who know their way around a wrench. We don't go in for big meetings or anything like that. We just show up, see what needs doing, and get to it. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, especially when the wind picks up off the water. We have a lot of metal sitting around the yard. It might look like a mess to someone just passing by, but we know where everything is. People call us when they're looking for a specific bit of hardware that’s hard to find elsewhere. We just try to be helpful when we can. It's a simple way of making a living, and it suits us just fine. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually in grease-stained shirts just trying to finish the day's tasks before heading home. The coffee is usually strong and the talk is mostly about the work and the tides.
