Wonder Appliances Pvt. Ltd. operates out of E-330A in MIA, Phase II. The factory floor is where most of the action happens every single day. It’s a big space filled with the constant sounds of metal and the assembly lines running. MIA Phase II is a massive industrial area, so there is always a lot of energy and noise around the building. We spend our days looking at various components and making sure the appliances are put together correctly before they are boxed up. It gets quite warm in the summer months, even with the big ceiling vents open all the way. We have a lot of workers who come in for different shifts. It’s a very practical and basic environment. We don't have any fancy lounge areas or soft chairs; we just have the break room where everyone grabs a quick bite or a glass of water. The office part is just a couple of desks near the front entrance where we handle the billing and the paperwork. You can see the trucks waiting outside in the lot to pick up the finished goods for delivery. Being in Phase II means we are surrounded by other factories doing all sorts of different things. We just worry about our own machines and making sure the production schedule is actually met on time. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing them. It’s hard work, but it keeps the business going. We don't have time for anything else besides work and sleep during the busy season.
