Western Bearing India

Our shop is at B-7 on New Power House Road in the Industrial Area. If you’re looking for bearings, this is where we keep them all. Western Bearing India isn't a complicated place. It’s basically a big warehouse with shelves from floor to ceiling, all filled with different sizes of bearings for every machine you can think of. We spend most of our day climbing metal ladders to find the right part for a customer who is usually in a rush. The air smells like machine oil and old cardboard, which is something you get used to pretty quickly after a week. We have a small counter at the front where people come in with a broken part, hoping we have the replacement in stock. Usually, we do, though it might take a minute to dig it out. The floor is stained from years of handling heavy metal parts and grease. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to loading the heavy boxes onto the trucks. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and counting inventory until your eyes get tired. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the road outside has seen a lot of wear and tear. We just try to keep the parts organized so we can find them. It’s a simple trade that keeps things moving for others.
