Vinayaka Hospital

Being in Jodhpur means dealing with the heat and the crowds most of the year. Vinayaka Hospital is located right opposite Geeta Bhawan, and we are quite close to Ummed Hospital too. That part of town is always moving. You can hear the traffic and the horns all day long from the front office. Our place isn't as huge as the one next door, but we stay busy. I often spend my afternoons sitting at the desk, looking out at the street while I catch up on paperwork. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have a few plants near the entrance that I try to remember to water. People come to us when they don't want to deal with the massive crowds at the bigger hospitals. It’s a bit more personal here. My staff has been with me for years, and we have a routine that works. Sometimes the water cooler breaks or the printer jams, and we just deal with it. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of ads. Most people just see the sign while they are heading to the temple or the other hospital. It is a practical place. We focus on the patients who walk in, listen to their stories, and try to get them sorted. It’s a lot of hard work, but it is what we know how to do.
