Veer Teja Kirana Store

Down in Bhopalgarh, near Jodhpur, things move a bit slower than the big cities. We have the Veer Teja Kirana Store right near the Tahsil. It’s a central part of town, so we get a lot of people coming in from the surrounding villages. They come to the Tahsil for their paperwork and stop by our shop for groceries on their way home. We carry all the staple foods like grains, oil, and spices. The dust can be a bit of a problem in this part of Rajasthan, so we are always dusting off the jars and packets. It’s a family business and we’ve been at this location for a good while. You can find us right on the Tahsil Road. It’s easy to spot. The afternoons are usually quiet when it’s too hot to be outside, but the mornings are very busy. We listen to a lot of local news and talk while we weigh out goods for customers. It’s a simple life running a kirana store here. We don't have fancy displays. We just put the sacks of grain where people can see them. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. We know their names and what they usually buy. It’s about being reliable and being there when the town wakes up. Bhopalgarh is a small place, and we are just happy to be a part of it, serving our neighbors and keeping the shelves stocked with what everyone needs.
