Veer Exports

Veer Exports is over in the Heavy Industrial Area at P-19. We are right across from the Jodhpur Dairy, which is helpful for directions because everyone knows where the dairy is. Being in an industrial zone means it's loud and there are trucks moving all the time. We deal with export goods, mostly things that need to be crated up and sent far away. The warehouse is big and drafty, especially in the winter months. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that. Just a few big fans that don't do much. My crew and I spend most of our time checking orders and making sure the packing is solid. It's not glamorous work. There's a lot of heavy lifting and checking lists twice. We’ve had some rough days when the power goes out or a truck breaks down, but we manage. We aren't a corporate giant. We’re just a group of people trying to get things done right. We don't have time for fancy talk. If an order comes in, we process it. That’s the long and short of it. The tea stall down the road is where we usually spend our breaks. It's a place where we get to know the other workers around here too. We like the community even if it’s a bit gritty.
