Vaman Impex

Vaman Impex is tucked away behind Parakh Petrol Pump, right opposite the S. B. B. J Bank Paota Branch on Paota B Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the location, but once you’re here, it’s easy to find. The petrol pump is a good landmark for us. Our building is a bit older, and the stairs are a little steep. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the sounds of the traffic from Paota B Road. We’ve got a lot of shelves filled with samples and records. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we have our own system that works for us. We spend a lot of time checking the bank across the street for our transactions. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we’re more like a small family. We share tea in the afternoons and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but we like it. Being behind the petrol pump means we see a lot of people coming and going. It’s a busy corner of the world, and we’re happy to have our little space right in the middle of it.
