V. N. Mehta Exports

Working out of V. N. Mehta Exports feels like being part of the history of this area. We are located at Ramnath Mehta Bhaison, right outside Jalorie Gate on Gole Building Road. If you know this part of town, you know it is always busy and full of energy. The sounds of the street come right through the windows most days, from the honking rickshaws to the people shouting in the market nearby. Our building is an older one, and it has that specific smell of old wood and paper that you only find in places that have been around for a long while. We handle exports, so there is always a lot of coordination happening over the phone and on the computers. It isn't a very quiet job, but we like the pace of it. During the summer, the heat in Jodhpur can be quite something, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day. We usually take a break together in the afternoon when things slow down for a bit. It’s just a handful of us here keeping the wheels turning. We don’t use any big fancy systems; we just rely on knowing our job and doing it right. Gole Building Road is a landmark for many, and we are just another part of the daily life that happens here. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been here at this address for many years and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
