Unimarb & Fibreglass Products

We are over in the Basni Industrial Area, specifically Phase II. Unimarb & Fibreglass Products has been operating from E 39 for quite a while now. Working with fibreglass is very different than wood or metal. It’s messy and you have to be careful with the resins and the smell. It’s not the kind of place you want to wear your nice clothes to. We usually have masks on when we are sanding things down. The shop floor is always covered in a bit of white dust. We aren't a high-tech company. We do a lot of things by hand, using molds and steady hands. The neighbors in the industrial area are mostly textile mills or stone cutters, so it’s a busy part of town. We don't spend money on fancy signs or glossy brochures. Most people who need fibreglass work just know where to find us. My brother and I handle the daily stuff. Some days we are making tanks, other times it’s custom parts for small machines. It varies quite a bit. We don't have a set routine other than starting early before it gets too hot in the building. The structure is a bit old and the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but it’s our space. We just try to make things that last. It's practical work for practical people. No big speeches, just getting the orders out the door.
