We are located in Jodhpur, right in Purbiyon Ki Gali at Bhistiyon Ka Bas. Tharparkar Preservation And Research Private Limited is a bit different from the usual shops around here. We focus on research and keeping things preserved, mostly relating to the Tharparkar breed and things like that. Our office is in a traditional part of the city, so it feels very grounded. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't from Jodhpur, but we like the quiet of the old streets. We spend a lot of time looking at data and writing things down. It’s not a fast-paced environment where people are shouting. It’s more about being steady and careful with the work. We have a small team and we’ve all been together for a long time. We don't have big budgets for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. Most of our day is spent reading or talking to people who care about the same things we do. It’s a specialized kind of work, but someone has to do it. We aren't trying to sell anything to anyone walking by. We just want to make sure the research gets done properly. It’s a quiet life here in the Gali. We come in early, do our tasks, and try to make some progress every day. It’s a long-term goal we are working toward together.
