Sunrise Art

Sunrise Art is located at C- 189 in Shastri Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s usually pretty calm around the shop. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which makes things easier to manage. The space is a bit tight with all the supplies we keep in stock, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the cat from next door comes in and sleeps on the workbench, and we just work around him. We don't have any big signs or bright lights outside. It’s just a regular door in Shastri Nagar. We spend most of our time painting or sketching out new ideas. Some days the ideas come fast and other days we just sit there staring at the wall. That’s just part of the process, I guess. We sell to neighbors and people who happen to be passing through the street. We don't really do much in the way of marketing because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. The windows get a bit grimy from the street dust, but the light still gets through well enough for us to see. It’s a quiet life and we like it that way. If we aren't at the shop, we’re probably out getting more supplies or taking a walk. Just a small business trying to keep things moving. We hope to be here for another few years at least.
