Stone & Craft

We are located at D-153 in Dev Nagar, right in the Shastri Nagar area. It’s a busy spot and we spend most of our time around the stones. There’s always dust on the floor and the sound of tools hitting the rock is what you hear all morning. Stone & Craft isn't a fancy showroom with carpets. It’s a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. We have slabs of different stones leaning against the walls, some rough and some smooth. It takes a lot of time to move them around because they are heavy. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to see what’s being worked on. We’ve been here at this address for a bit now and the routine is mostly the same. You wake up, get to the shop, and start looking at what needs to be cut or polished. We don’t have a big team of office people. It’s just us doing the actual labor. The sun comes through the front door in the afternoon and hits the marble pieces. It gets hot in the summer but the stone stays a bit cool to the touch. We keep our tools on a workbench that’s seen better days. There’s no big sign with lights, just the place where we work. If you walk down the street in Dev Nagar, you’ll find us easily because of the piles of stone outside. It’s just how we spend our days here at Stone & Craft.
