Star Art & Craft

Star Art & Craft is based out in Basni, specifically in the Iind Phase on Road No. 6. We’re right near the Masjid, so we hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a nice sense of rhythm. Basni is an industrial area, so there are a lot of workshops and small factories around us. It can get pretty noisy with all the machinery running nearby, but we’re used to it by now. Our building is a simple structure on Road No. 6. We have a big door that we keep open most of the time to let the breeze in, although it brings in a fair amount of dust too. We do a mix of art and craft work here, so there is always some project spread out on the floor. It’s a dusty, busy environment, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, the space is just filled with raw materials and finished pieces waiting to go out. We’ve been in this part of Basni for a while, and we know most of the people on our street. Sometimes we share a meal or a drink with the neighbors. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the work and the people we see every day. The name Star Art & Craft was chosen a long time ago, and we’ve just stuck with it.
