Siyaag Tyres

Siyaag Tyres is over in Osian, right near the police station and the Jaat Hostel. In this part of Jodhpur, you need good tyres because the roads can be a bit rough and the sun is very strong. We spend most of our time outside or in the open part of the shop. There is always dust in the air, and our hands are usually black from handling the rubber. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. People usually just stand around or sit on a bench while we work on their vehicles. We see a lot of trucks and tractors because of the farms around here. Also, plenty of motorbikes come through. It is a busy spot especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out to work. We have a few tools that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need to do. My brother and I run the place most days. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People know where the police station is, so they find us easily enough. Sometimes a traveler gets stuck with a puncture and we have to help them out late at night. That is just how it goes here. We enjoy the work even if it is messy and tiring. It is a good way to earn a living in Osian.
