Sisham Udyog

Sisham Udyog is located right at C-21, opposite the Basni Railway Station in Basni, 1st Phase. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains all day long, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our place is more of a workshop than an office. We work with Sisham wood, so the whole building usually smells like sawdust and polish. It’s a good smell, though. We have a lot of heavy machinery and stacks of wood waiting to be turned into something useful. It’s a bit loud and dusty, but that’s just how a real workshop is. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We are just people who know how to handle wood. My uncle and a few cousins work here with me. We've been in the 1st Phase of Basni for a long time. People know us by the sound of the saws. We don't put on any acts for customers. What you see at C-21 is exactly what we are. We work hard, we take our tea breaks, and we make sure the furniture is solid. It’s not an easy job, especially when it’s hot outside, but we’ve been doing it for years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Sometimes we even stay late to finish a table for a customer.
