Shree Jasnath Handicrafts

Our workshop is located in the RIICO Industrial Area in Boranada. Specifically, we are at G-114 in the 1st Phase. If you’ve ever been to Jodhpur, you know this area is full of people making things. It’s a dusty place, and the sun gets really hot in the afternoons, but that’s where the work happens. We focus on handicrafts. It’s mostly wood and metal work that we do. We have a few local artisans who come in and spend their days carving or painting. It’s not a silent place; there’s always the sound of hammers or saws going. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The office part is just a small corner with a desk that’s usually covered in wood shavings. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy. People know we are here because of the smell of polish and the stacks of crates waiting to be loaded onto trucks. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit outside for a bit, but we usually get back to it pretty quick. We just try to make things that look decent and last a long time. It’s honest work. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an order. Mostly, we are on our feet in the back, making sure the pieces are coming out right. It’s a simple way to make a living, honestly.
