Sanvitaran Association

If you go up to the second floor at Plot No. 10 in Maanji Ka Hatha, you’ll find where the Sanvitaran Association works. We are right in the Paota area of Jodhpur. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We’ve been set up here for a bit now, just trying to get things done for the community. It’s a basic office space, nothing too special to look at. We spend a lot of our time sitting around the table planning out what needs to happen next in the city. Jodhpur is a big place, but we try to focus on what’s right in front of us. Most of the people working here are locals who grew up in Rajasthan. We don’t have any fancy corporate rules or anything. We just show up, have some tea, and get to work. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much in the heat, but we manage. People stop by quite a bit since we’re easy to find in Paota. We keep our files in stacks and try to keep up with the paperwork, though it’s a lot sometimes. We aren’t trying to be some massive organization. We just want to be an association that actually does something for the people living nearby. It’s practical work. We don’t overthink it. Our door is usually open for anyone who wants to see what we are up to.
