Gujarat Timber Industries

Gujarat Timber Industries is located out in Jodhpur, near the railway crossing on Sangaria Main Bye Pass Road. Our address is K. No. 108/01. It is a large yard because timber takes up a lot of room. You can hear the trains passing by quite often since we are so close to the tracks. We deal with all kinds of wood and logs. The smell of fresh sawdust is everywhere. It is a very physical job. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks and cutting wood to size. The sun gets pretty hot out here on the bye pass road, but we have some shaded areas for the heavy sawing machines. It is a dusty place and your boots will get dirty, but that is fine with us. We do not have a fancy showroom. People just come to the yard to pick out the wood they need for their construction or furniture projects. We have been at this spot for a long time and the local people know us well. We do not use much fancy technology, just the saws and our hands. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it slow for the trucks to get out, but we manage to get things moved. It is a straightforward business of selling and cutting timber. We just keep the wood stacked and wait for the next customer to stop by. That is our daily routine.
