Sales Officer

The Sales Officer desk is located at 52, Madhav Nagar in Jaipur, right opposite the Durgapura Railway Station. Being so close to the station means there is a constant sound of trains and whistles in the background. It is a very busy area with people always rushing around. Our office is a simple one-room setup on the ground floor. It’s got a bit of a Rajasthan feel with the old walls and the way the sunlight hits the front door in the morning. I spend my time here managing the local accounts and keeping track of the stock. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down in ledgers and then typing them into the computer later. The desk is a bit wobbly, so I’ve put a piece of cardboard under one leg to keep it steady. Sometimes travelers from the station pop in by mistake thinking we sell tickets, and we have to point them in the right direction. It makes for some funny stories. I like being in Madhav Nagar because everything you need is just a short walk away. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big team. It is just me handling the sales officer duties as best as I can. The tea stall across the street knows my order by heart now. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in Jaipur, away from the big tourist spots.
