R.K. Clinic

Our clinic in Paota is sitting right near the main road, so it is never really quiet here. You can always hear the buses and trucks rumbling past, and sometimes the dust from the road blows in if the door stays open too long. It is a small place, nothing too fancy at all. We have a front area where people wait, and then the back where we do the consultations. The floor is made of simple tiles that we sweep out a few times a day because of the feet coming in and out. Most of the people who come to see us are from the Paota area or people who work nearby and need a quick checkup. We keep the medicine in a wooden cabinet and have a simple table for the exams. It is just the way we like it, practical and easy to manage. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine inside out. Sometimes we sit out front when it is slow, watching the traffic on the main road. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite bright inside. We have been here for a while now, and everyone knows where to find us if they have a fever or need a bandage. It’s just a regular neighborhood clinic doing its thing every day.
