Our office is over at 17E/430 in the Chopasani Housing Board area of Jodhpur. It’s a pretty standard spot, nothing too flashy, which suits us just fine. Most of our day is spent dealing with the heat and making sure our site supervisors have what they need to keep the work moving. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here, like sorting out the payroll for the workers and checking the equipment logs. The desert sun can be brutal, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the day. Our team in Rajasthan is a small but steady group. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished marketing. We’d rather just sit down with a cup of chai and figure out why a delivery is running late. The office itself is filled with rolls of blueprints and old files from past jobs. It smells a bit like dust and old paper, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We’ve got a few desks and some noisy fans to keep the air moving. People come and go all day, mostly drivers or site leads stopping in for a quick update. It’s a busy atmosphere but we try to keep things relaxed. We know the local area well and how things work around here. It’s just a group of us trying to keep the projects on schedule without too much drama or unnecessary paperwork getting in the way.
