We have been operating out of our office at 281-282 Paota for quite a few years now. The place is tucked away in Manji Ka Hatha, right behind Suncity Hospital. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time if you aren't looking for the hospital landmark, but most people figure it out eventually. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It is mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. My own desk is usually covered in folders and loose papers because there is always something to look at. We spend a lot of our time just sitting here with the fans going, trying to stay cool during the Jodhpur summers while we work through different accounts. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly involving numbers and calculators. We don't have a big staff or a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you will just see us working. We get our tea from the small shop around the corner, and that is often the highlight of the afternoon. It is a simple life here in Paota. We just try to get the work done without making too much of a fuss. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of paperwork to finish, but that is just part of the job. It is a practical space for practical work, and we like it that way.
