It’s usually pretty busy here at Preksha Hospital & Chetna Ivf Research Centre on 4 main. Most days start early before the sun is even fully up because there are always charts to check and rooms to prep. We’ve been at this spot on 4 main for a while now. The IVF research part takes up a lot of our focus, and it’s a lot of quiet work in the labs while the rest of the hospital is buzzing with people. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to show up at once. We just try to keep things moving. It isn’t always easy balancing the hospital side with the specialized research stuff, but we make it work. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the local rhythms. You see a lot of the same faces coming back. The building itself is just a regular place, nothing fancy, but we keep it tidy. Dealing with fertility stuff means we see people when they are pretty stressed, so we try to just be normal and talk to them like neighbors. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up, do the work, and hope people get what they need. Some days are long, and the coffee in the breakroom isn't great, but this is what we do at 4 main every single day. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the patients.
