Our workshop and store are located at 9-A, Umaid Bhawan, Palace Road, which is right near the Circuit House. It’s a good location because we get a lot of people passing by on their way to see the palace. We’ve been at Paradise Handicrafts for many years now, working with wood, fabric, and other materials to make traditional items. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You can usually hear the sound of someone carving or sanding something in the back room. We don't have a big fancy showroom. Most of our stuff is just displayed on wooden shelves or hanging from the walls. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We have some regular workers who have been with us since they were young. We spend our mornings checking the new pieces that were finished the day before. If there’s a flaw, we try to fix it right there. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about the work being real. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps and talk to the neighbors when things are slow. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, but we have some old fans that keep the air moving while we work. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people find us just by walking down Palace Road or hearing about us from someone else who bought a souvenir here years ago. It's a slow and steady life, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
