P N Agarwal & Co is over in Sardarpura on 2nd A Road at house number 87. This is a bit of a different area compared to the heavy industrial zones. It feels more like a settled part of town where everyone knows each other’s business. We have been operating from this building for many years. It’s an old structure with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that have been painted many times over. Inside it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We have a lot of old files and ledgers stacked up on the shelves. The furniture is mostly made of heavy wood and the chairs have those old cushions that have gone a bit flat. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because people in Sardarpura just walk in when they need something. It’s a quiet way of doing business without any of the shouting you find elsewhere. Usually, someone is sitting at the front desk drinking water from a steel jug. We take things one day at a time here. There isn't any rush or big corporate pressure. We just look after the accounts and the customers who have been coming to us for decades. It’s a steady place and we plan on staying right here on 2nd A Road for as long as we can.
