Osianready Foundation

Osianready Foundation is based right across from the Goshala in Osian. We are currently operating out of Chhagana Ram’s place. If you know the village, you know it is a small and tight-knit community where news travels fast. Being opposite the Goshala means there is always something happening nearby. We are not some big fancy organization from the city. We are locals through and through. Osian is a beautiful place but it has its challenges too. We set this up to help out where we can. It is not a full-time office with a receptionist and fancy chairs. It is more of a community effort. We sit down and talk about what needs to happen and then try to make it happen. The name Osianready was picked because we want to be ready for whatever the village needs. Sometimes we are working in the sun and other times we are sitting inside planning the next steps. It is a very simple operation. We do not have fancy brochures or a PR team. It is just us and the people we live next to. Life in the village moves at its own pace and we try to keep up with it. It is honest work and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just here across from the Goshala doing what we can. It feels right to be part of the village in this way.
