You can find us tucked away inside the Raghunath Das Parihar Dharamshala, right by the railway station. It’s a very noisy spot because the trains are always coming in and the speakers are constantly making announcements. We’ve been here for a long time, helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s mostly just a small desk and a couple of chairs for travelers to sit on while we look up bus timings or check for available cars. A lot of people staying at the dharamshala come to us because we are right there. We don't have any fancy brochures or big posters. Usually, we just write down the details on a piece of paper for the customers. Some days it gets really hectic, especially during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and other agents to see what’s possible. It’s not a job where you get much peace and quiet, but we like being in the middle of all the action at the station. We know all the tea stalls and shops around here pretty well by now. We just try to be helpful and give people the right information so they don't end up lost or waiting for a bus that isn't coming. It’s simple work but it keeps the days moving fast.
