Monica Glass & Plywood

You’ll find Monica Glass & Plywood on Salawas Road, specifically at Mahaveer Nagar 5/A. We have a lot of sheets of glass and stacks of plywood sitting around, so you have to be careful where you walk inside. It’s a busy little shop. We spend most of our time cutting things to size or loading up customers' vehicles out front. The smell of cut wood is pretty much always in the air here, which we’ve gotten used to. We’ve been in Mahaveer Nagar for quite a bit, and we know many of the people who live and work nearby. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have any fancy displays; we just show the materials we have in stock. If someone needs a piece of glass for a window or some plywood for a shelf, they come to us. Handling glass can be tricky and a bit dangerous, so we have to be slow and steady with it. Plywood is a bit more forgiving but it’s definitely heavy to move around all day. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising or marketing. Most people find us because they live close by or someone told them about our spot. It’s just a normal business where we do our best to get the cuts right. The shop stays open until the evening, and then we lock up the gate and head home. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the work we do.
