Gayatri Enterprises

Our place is in the Basni Phase II area of Jodhpur, specifically at E-133(a) on Road No: 6. It’s right in the middle of the Marudhar Industrial Area, or M.I.A. as everyone calls it. The sun here in Jodhpur is no joke, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the middle of the day. Gayatri Enterprises is a straightforward operation. We handle a variety of things depending on what our customers need at the time. The warehouse space is filled with crates and boxes stacked up. It is not the most modern building, but it serves us well for what we do. We usually have tea together in the morning before the phones start ringing and the emails come in. Managing a business in this part of town means knowing your neighbors and dealing with the occasional power cut. We keep a ledger of everything that goes in and out. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to spend time wiping down the inventory. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, manage the stock, and make sure the deliveries go out to the right places. It’s a busy life but it is honest work that keeps us grounded here in Jodhpur. We keep the gates open for arrivals and try to finish our paperwork before the sun sets.
