Meal Inn Restaurant

We are over here at Hotel B Regent on Residency Road in Jodhpur. Most days start pretty early because we have to get everything ready before the lunch rush kicks in. It’s a busy spot around Jaljog Circle and there is always something going on outside the window. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons but that is just part of the job. People come in from the street or stay upstairs at the hotel and they usually just want a quiet place to sit down for a bit. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's mostly just making sure the tables are wiped down and the food is ready when people ask for it. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late or the traffic on Residency Road makes things slow, but we manage. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have lived in Jodhpur our whole lives. You can find us right by the main road. It’s not a huge place but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time checking the pantry and making sure the supplies are stocked up. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of being in this part of town. We just keep the fans going and stay busy. If you are walking around near Jaljog Circle you have probably seen our sign out front. The menu stays pretty simple so we don't get overwhelmed during the dinner service.
