We are over at 177 Sindhi Colony, right near Jaljog Circle. It’s a lively neighborhood and there is always something going on. The shop has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the area change quite a lot over the years. We do hair and skin stuff, nothing too complicated or over the top. The chairs are comfortable enough, even if they’ve seen better days. We get a lot of regulars from the colony who just walk over for their appointments. Sometimes they stay to chat even after they’re done with their hair. It gets quite busy on the weekends, and the waiting area gets full of people reading old magazines we keep on the table. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just know where we are. The mirrors always need wiping because of the humidity in the air. We use basic stuff that works for everyone. My cousin helps out on the busy days when there are too many people. We try to keep the place tidy, but with hair everywhere, it’s a constant battle with the broom. The noise from the circle comes in whenever the door opens. We have a small fan that rattles in the corner, but it keeps the air moving. It’s just a normal place where people come to get cleaned up.
