The Tulsi Exims

The Tulsi Exims is based at Q-16 in the Mandore Krishi Upaj Mandi. Being right inside the Mandi means we are in the heart of the local trade. Every morning, the area is packed with farmers, traders, and laborers moving sacks of grain and other produce. It is a very loud and dusty environment, but that is where the real business happens. Our spot is a mix of a small office and a storage area where we keep the goods we are preparing for export. We don't have a formal way of doing things; whoever is around helps out with whatever needs to be done, whether it is answering a call or helping to load a truck. We have been in this location for many years, so we know all the other traders around us. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the items that come in and making sure they are packed correctly for their long journeys. It is a lot of physical work, and the heat in the Mandi can be quite intense during the summer months. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy office furniture; we just have some fans and a few sturdy tables. We are part of the daily rhythm of the market, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is a tough life, but it is honest and keeps us connected to the land.
