Parihar Tent Factory

Parihar Tent Factory is located in the Geetanjali School Building, specifically at Shop Nb-12 on Mandore Road. It is a busy area in Mahamandir and we have been here for quite some time now. We handle tents and all the heavy fabric that goes with them. Most of the time, the place is full of big rolls of cloth and metal poles leaning against the walls. You can hear the sewing machines humming through most of the morning. Being near the school means there is always a lot of activity outside, especially when the kids are coming or going. We spend a lot of our time stitching and checking the ropes. It’s physical work, moving the heavy bundles around and getting everything ready for the next setup. Mandore Road is a main stretch, so we get a lot of people stopping by to ask about what we have ready in the back. The shop isn't fancy, it’s a working factory space. We have some guys who have been doing this for years and they have been handling the heavy canvas since they were young. Sometimes the heat in Mahamandir gets a bit much, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s a lot of folding and packing, making sure the tents are put away right so they don't get ruined. It is just a regular day-to-day life here at the Geetanjali School Building spot and we usually wrap up things around sunset when the road gets a bit quieter.
