Mamta Juice

Mamta Juice is situated in Badhiyal. If you are standing opposite the Junction Railway Station, you can pretty much see where we are. We are also very close to the government school, so there are always kids and commuters walking back and forth. It’s a loud spot with the trains coming in and out, but that keeps things interesting. We’ve been here for some time now, serving whoever walks in the door. The mornings are usually the busiest because of the school rush and people catching their early trains. We don't have a lot of space for sitting down, but people don't seem to mind. They just grab what they need and head on to the platform or the classroom. The station area is always dusty and crowded, especially during the festivals. We try to keep our corner as tidy as possible, though it's a constant battle with the wind and the traffic. It’s not a fancy place by any means. Just a small shop with a counter and some crates stacked up in the back. We use what we have and focus on the daily routine of peeling and pressing. Sometimes we run out of change, or the delivery of fresh fruit is late because of a train delay, but that’s just part of life here. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s a good community, even with all the noise and the busy tracks.
