Maharani Art Exporter

We are located on Cycle Market Road, right near the Clock Tower. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don’t have to give directions too often. Maharani Art Exporter is in a building that has seen a lot of years. There are always people milling about outside and the sound of bells and horns is constant. Inside, we have rows and rows of art pieces and crafts. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can in the space we have. Dust gets on everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a family-run feel here. We sit on old stools and drink tea while we look over the new stock. The light isn’t great in the back of the shop, so we use a few extra lamps. When the export orders come in, the whole place gets turned upside down with bubble wrap and tape. It’s a lot of manual work, packing things carefully so they don’t break. We’ve been near the Clock Tower for as long as I can remember. The rent goes up, the street gets busier, but we stay put. It’s a good spot for people to see what we have. It feels like the heart of the town right here on Cycle Market Road.
