We are located at H-211/212 in the Mandore Industrial Area. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the heavy lifting and the items we’re working on. Mandore is a bit out of the main city, so it’s a bit more open, but the sun really beats down on the roof in May and June. We have a lot of tools lying around and the floor is usually covered in shavings or scraps. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, one of us just wipes our hands and comes to the door if someone knocks. The office part is just a small corner with a fan and a few old filing cabinets. Most of our time is spent out on the main floor. We’ve got a few guys who have been with us since we started, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New units pop up and old ones close down, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our clothes are usually stained by the end of the shift. We don’t mind it, though. It’s better than sitting behind a screen all day. We just focus on the pieces in front of us and try to get the loading done before it gets dark. It’s a simple life, but it works for us.
