Madanlal Birla Foundation

Madanlal Birla Foundation is situated in Jodhpur, at Plot No-44. It’s the Birla House on New Chand Pole Road, right near Siwanchi Gate. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and character. The building itself has been around for a while. We use it as our main base for everything the foundation does. Jodhpur is known for being the Blue City, and while our building isn't necessarily blue, it fits right into the neighborhood. We don’t have a professional writing staff to make us sound like a big international company. We’re just local people working in a local office. Most days are spent sitting at our desks, talking to people who walk in, or handling the daily mail. It can get pretty noisy outside with the traffic near Siwanchi Gate, but we’re used to it by now. Rajasthan is a place where you have to be practical, and that’s how we run things. We focus on the daily chores and the long-term projects we’ve got going on. There isn't any fancy marketing here. We just try to be helpful and keep the foundation running smoothly. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the work we do. Being on New Chand Pole Road means we’re right in the heart of things, which is exactly where we want to be. Sometimes we stay late to finish things up, but usually, we head home when the sun goes down. It’s a good routine for us.
