You will find M. R. Handicrafts over in Basni Second Phase. We are in Gali number six, which is very close to the local masjid. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving in and out with various goods. Our workshop is a modest place. We don't have a fancy entrance or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you’ll just find us in the back, working on whatever handicraft items are in demand at the moment. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually covered in dust or paint by the end of the day. The heat in Jodhpur can be pretty intense, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before the sun gets too high. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. We just have a small team of guys who know their jobs. We’ve been in this gali for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change around us. We don't spend money on expensive ads. We just focus on making things that are solid and useful. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps to have a break and watch the world go by. It’s a quiet, regular kind of life, and we are happy to be part of the community here. We just take one day at a time and do our work honestly. It’s not about being the biggest shop in town; it’s about doing something we know how to do well enough for our customers.
