M. B. Handicrafts

M. B. Handicrafts is tucked away in the Basni 2nd Phase area at G-195. If you know this part of town, you know it is mostly industrial and can get quite dusty in the afternoons. Our workshop is where all the actual making happens. We have got piles of raw materials and tools everywhere you look. It is not the kind of place that stays clean for more than ten minutes. The people working here have been doing this for a long time, so they know exactly what they are doing with their hands. We mostly just focus on finishing the pieces and getting them ready to be sent off. There is always the sound of hammers or machines running in the background while we work. We don't really have a big reception area or anyone to answer phones all day. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes their hands and picks it up. It is a bit of a squeeze in the G-195 unit sometimes when we have a big batch of handicrafts to move. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy workshop, things just end up where they end up. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People know where to find us when they need something made. It is just a bunch of us doing our jobs and trying to stay ahead of the schedule every week. It is what it is.
