Lalit Pharma

We are located at shop number 2425 on Mgh Road. It is a very specific spot because we are right opposite the Karpratap School. In the mornings and afternoons, the street gets very lively with all the kids and parents moving around. Lalit Pharma is right in the middle of the Medical Market area. There are many similar shops around here, but we have our own way of doing things. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. It goes all the way up to the ceiling. We have a small ladder we use to reach the top rows. It is a bit of a workout. The front of the shop is mostly glass so we can see what is happening on the road. We get a lot of dust from the traffic, so cleaning the counters is a never-ending task. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in looking for something specific. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things get quiet, but that doesn't happen often. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. We know the regular rickshaw drivers who wait nearby. It feels like a small village sometimes, even though we are in a busy market. We have a routine of opening up early and closing once the street lights come on. It is honest work. The school bell rings loud every day.
