Raj Garden Plants

Our little spot for Raj Garden Plants is right by the park in the Kudi Bhagtasani Housing Board area. It’s a quiet enough place, mostly. We spend most of our time watering things and making sure the bugs don’t get to the leaves. It’s funny how much time you can spend just pulling weeds or moving pots from one side of the dirt to the other. People from the housing board walk by all the time, sometimes they stop to look and sometimes they just keep going to the park. We’re at number 7/J/54, so we aren't hard to find if you’re looking. Working with plants means your fingernails are always a bit dark from the soil. It’s nice to be outside though, even when the sun is really hitting hard. We have a mix of different green things around here. Some grow fast and some take forever, which can be a bit frustrating if you're waiting on them. We don't have a big office or anything, just the plants and the space we use. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Sometimes a plant doesn't make it and that’s a shame, but usually, things grow alright if you keep an eye on them. We just try to keep everything alive and healthy for whoever needs a bit of green for their own home. It’s a lot of manual work but it keeps us moving and the fresh air is good for the lungs. We like it here.
